About Adam

I am a 28 year old American man living in Toulouse, France currently studying the French language for pleasure.

I'm taking a break from the American workforce and am enjoying the new experiences that living in France offers.

For hobbies, I enjoy surfing and climbing, as well as reading and playing chess (although I'm certainly not a great chess player).

I'm a pretty simple person, but I've spent a lot of time in this life ruminating about many different existential, cultural, psychological, sociological, and geopolitical affairs.

About the lesson

If you're looking to converse with a native, American English speaker about academic or professional topics, then I may be the right fit for you.

I have past experience working as a sociology student teacher at Santa Barbara City College, and am an avid reader of world literature. I also have several years of experience in the American corporate workforce. Due to such, I can likely help you speak and write more professionally depending upon the specific institution that you need to operate within.

I am 28 years old and hold a bachelor's degree from UCLA. My interests are widespread, spanning from philosophy, psychology, sociology, and literature to computer science and neuroscience.

I am not a pedantic teacher: I am willing to help you in whatever pursuit you're after when it comes to your English ability, whether it be to improve your spoken or written English.
