About Rishi
I have tutored for six years, with dozens of students and success stories, including helping two students get into Cornell Computer Science/Biology. Please contact me if you want a reliable, experienced, and knowledgeable tutor who caters their lessons to the students' particular learning style! One example of this is when I helped a student with severe autism excel in Regents Biology, by leaning into visual teaching styles.
I think the benefits of a good education cannot be overstated, especially if the students also get scholarships to help pay for it. Some of my own include the National Merit Scholarship, CAPTRUST, and H&R Block CAPS, among several merit-based full-ride scholarships. My education has allowed me to join two med-tech internships at a time when many rising sophomores don't have software internships -- enabling me to build my hard and soft skills and grow my network. As such, I love helping my students get access to the same opportunities I had (as a top student at NYC's best specialized high school) and have at college.

In a typical Test Prep/STEM lesson, I introduce a major topic, like SAT proportions, then focus on explaining and applying it with real problems.
For college admissions, I evaluate the students' interests to suggest colleges, directions for the essay, etc. With my writing experience, I often provide constructive criticism or advice for future drafts -- read below for some of my success stories.
