About Emily
Structure provides the foundation for any creative pursuit. Frankly, I find that even the most talented players sometimes struggle because they lack a systematic way to practise.
I rely on my 9 years of experience to help working professionals and adults translate their musical ideas into reality. Being a Guildhall graduate means I bring a rigorous approach to every concept, from music theory to intricate fingerstyle patterns. My lessons turn song requests into simplified arrangements that match your current ability level perfectly.
We will isolate difficult transitions until they feel natural under your fingers. You deserve a clear map that leads directly to your next performance.

Performing as a classical vocalist for 8 years taught me how to listen intensely. Is it possible to find a teacher who hears the nuance in your playing? I have worked with 393 students to build confidence on the fretboard.
