About Apple Joy
Hello everyone, my name is Apple Joy Agda, and I'm thrilled to be your tutor for Reading/English. With a BSE major in English from The Philippines, along with 8 years of experience in teaching, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our sessions.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles, helping them not only understand challenging concepts but also develop a genuine love for the subject.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my commitment to personalized instruction tailored to each student's unique needs and learning preferences. Whether you're struggling with foundational concepts or aiming for advanced mastery, I'm here to provide guidance, support, and encouragement every step of the way. As a tutor, I tailor my approach to each student's individual needs and learning style. I start by assessing their current level of understanding and then develop a customized plan to address any gaps or areas of difficulty. I use a variety of teaching methods, such as visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-life examples, to make concepts more relatable and engaging. Also, I believe in fostering an interactive learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions and participate actively in the learning process. I use discussions, group activities, and collaborative projects to encourage critical thinking and peer-to-peer learning. By involving students in the learning process, I help them develop a deeper understanding of the material and build confidence in their abilities.
