About Ella
I am a professional piano tutor with 12 years of experience and a proven record of successfully training around 300 students. My students include high school learners, college musicians, and adults who want to refine their piano skills.
My teaching philosophy balances structured learning with creative exploration. I focus on building a strong technical foundation through scales, arpeggios, chord studies, rhythm practice, and sight-reading exercises. At the same time, I encourage students to develop their own musical interpretation.
Each lesson includes clear objectives, technical training, and performance preparation. I adapt my approach according to individual goals, whether students aim for examinations, competitions, or personal enjoyment. Many of my students have achieved high distinctions in exams and performed confidently in public events.
My goal is to guide every student with patience and professionalism, helping them unlock their full potential and build a lifelong love for piano.

My methodology for piano teaching emphasises communication, creativity, flexibility, and goal-oriented learning. I believe that clear understanding leads to strong performance. I focus on teaching technique, timing, coordination, and expression step by step. Communication helps students stay motivated and aware of their development.
Creativity allows them to connect emotionally with music and develop their own style. Flexibility ensures that lesson plans match individual goals, whether preparing for exams, competitions, or personal enjoyment. I also teach music theory, rhythm exercises, harmony, and performance preparation to build well-rounded musicians. My goal is to inspire discipline, confidence, and passion for music.
