About Ariane

I am a 24 year old graduate. My background is mostly in languages and fashion/creative direction. I moved to Southampton 5 years ago for University. I was born in London and then moved to Spain as my father is Spanish and got a job there. I have always wanted to teach as both my parents are lecturers/teachers and have always inspired me with the impact they have had on their students. The aspect of being able to change somebodies life by teaching is inspiring to me and something I wish to receive through this job. Having a sense of fulfilment through this is rewarding in itself.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is patience and ensuring the student feels comfortable the environment. I create a safe space for the student to share their thoughts, questions and answers with. I disagree with the harsh or patronising approach and find it easier to approach students with kindness and willingness to help. The typical length of a lesson is 1-2 hours but can be increased upon request. I have a BA (Hons) in Fashion Styling and a Masters in Creative Direction. My lessons are aimed towards primary, junior and secondary school, ages 5-16. Key stages 1-4
