About SHARMISTHA
Hello! I am Sharmistha, a dedicated and enthusiastic primary educator with a passion for making learning enjoyable and meaningful for young children. I specialize in teaching Math, English, SST and Hindi to Grade 1 to Grade 3 students through interactive and student-friendly methods.
I believe every child learns differently, which is why I focus on creating a positive, patient and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves freely. My classes are designed to strengthen foundational concepts, improve confidence and develop a genuine interest in learning.
With experience in classroom teaching and activity-based learning, I use worksheets, games, oral practice, storytelling and creative exercises to make lessons engaging and effective. I also provide regular revision and personalized attention to help students progress at their own pace.
As a teacher, I value discipline, consistency and clear communication with both students and parents. My goal is not only to help children perform better academically but also to make them independent and confident learners.
I look forward to helping young learners grow, improve and enjoy their learning journey with confidence and enthusiasm.

Hello! I am Sharmistha, a passionate primary educator who believes that learning should be interactive, engaging and enjoyable for every child. I teach Maths, English and Hindi for Grade 1 to Grade 3 students through simple explanations, activity-based learning and regular practice.
My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundational concepts rather than rote learning. I use worksheets, storytelling, games, visual aids, quick oral revision, creative activities and real-life examples to make lessons easier to understand and remember. I also encourage students to ask questions freely so they can learn with confidence.
A typical class begins with a quick revision of previous concepts, followed by explanation of the new topic through interactive methods and guided practice. Students then solve exercises independently with support wherever needed. Regular assessments, reading practice and revision sessions help track progress effectively.
One of my special features as a teacher is my patience and ability to work with young learners at different learning levels. I provide personalised attention and adapt my teaching methods according to each child’s pace and understanding. I especially enjoy helping students improve their basics, confidence, handwriting, reading and speaking skills.
My classes are intended for primary school students, especially children from Grade 1 to Grade 3 who need academic support, concept clarity or extra practice in a friendly and encouraging learning environment.
