About Megan
I'm Meg, 21 years old, and I'm a Creative Writing Student at the University of Lincoln. I like to write across multiple forms. I'd say predominantly, I write Gothic Prose. I'm quite film-obsessed, too (anything spooky I love).
I hope to encourage emerging writers! I want to get people to talk about writing, and even better, to get their work out there for people to read! Give me all the gorgeous words to read, please!
In addition, I've always enjoyed working with young people, having spent many years coaching gymnastics to people aged 4-16. I'm looking to teach something I love to a new generation of wonderful people.

Let's get straight to the good stuff: The WRITING!
I find 'learning on the job' to be one of the most useful ways of elevating a creative piece. So...
We'd create a plan together in our first session. If you have studies that you'd like help with, let's get that sorted! If not...
First, I'd love to hear what you've got! A quick go at some flash fiction will help me learn about you, and what stage we are at.
Next, we'd give a few cool techniques a go. The plan would be to experiment with something new every session, whether that be discovering a character's schema or lexical field, or to alter sentence structure to better fit a tone or genre.
You'll build a fantastic creative portfolio!
Everything taught would be delivered at your desired pace. I'll do everything I can to make sure you enjoy the journey to becoming a more confident writer.
