Helo! My name is Leandro. I am a professor of Criminology and Criminal Law, with extensive teaching experience in various institutions.
The classes are focused on learning the main criminological theories, serving as a complement to the understanding of the discipline and the preparation for public exams.
Criminology has always been considered a supporting discipline, and in many universities it's only available as optional discipline. This has changed in recent years, due to the current context (in which crime has become an everyday issue), the growing academic production in the area and even the greater interest of public examination boards.
