About YU
I got my MBA degree from Rider University in the US, majoring in finance and minoring in education. I obtained International CTCSOL accreditation (official specialized certification for Chinese teaching to non-native speakers) and “2-A” on the Mandarin Proficiency Test. I have over 5 years of related teaching experience. I have many friends from different countries and they've learned really practical Chinese social expressions, daily life phrases, and business Chinese from me.

I'm an interesting, patient and passionate Chinese teacher for foreigners. For students of different ages and Chinese levels, I'll use targeted teaching methods. For beginners, I am adept at TPR teaching. I'll slow down and start with Pinyin, common daily phrases and vocab. I'll make sure you understand every sentence and word. For students with medium or higher Chinese levels, I'll talk at a normal speed and do some situational simulation teaching to help you blend into Chinese social culture quicker. The class atmosphere is fun and lively. For students who want to take the YCT or HKS exams, I'll offer some suitable reference materials and guide you to prepare for these exams in a targeted way.
