About Maddy
I am currently a 3rd grade teacher. I have now taught in two different school districts. through my short two years, I have learned so much! I continue to love to learn new content areas, new strategies, and new engagement activities for students. Tutoring is a great opportunity to learn and try things as well. The world is too big and creativity to be expected to all learn one way… let’s try new things and learn together!

I am a firm believer in relationships in teaching! Kids who don’t feel appreciate, heard, and safe cannot possibly be expected to learn or grow. Building relationships can be as easy as knowing a student favorite color… knowing the little or big things can greatly change how a student connects to not only the content but their relationship with learning as well!
