About Alex
Hello, my name is Alex Marsh and I am a 3rd year Natural sciences student at the university of Exeter. I am 21 and have experience in tutoring at GCSE level. I have worked for Coachbright (charity organisation) so have received tutoring training, this is something I would love to put to further use. I really enjoy teaching and would love to be involved in another educational journey

I am offering GCSE maths and science lessons at higher or foundation level. My lessons are flexible in length, though an hour is common. For both maths and science I will ask questions to gauge proficiency in a certain field and provide example questions to challenge the student. I seek to encourage true understanding by providing hints when students get stuck and praise when good work is performed. I have tutored at foundation level and my student found success achieving the pass she required. I have also tutored for a more disadvantaged school on a voluntary basis.
