About Adrielle
My name is Addy, and I am a current student at ANU studying a double degree in International Relations and International Security Studies. When I'm not doing coursework, I can be found reading or gaming, as I am quite the geek at times.
I have experience tutoring primary-aged children in English and Mathematics, but I am happy to assist all the way to Year 12 with English, as I scored a high Band 5 and an E4 in Advanced and Extension 1 English, respectively. I also am willing to tutor in Society and Culture and Ancient History, as I also scored high Band 5s. This was despite dealing with significant personal issues, which heavily disrupted my HSC years. While many would see this as not an achievement, I do, as it shows my dedication and ambition to reach my end goal and to persevere when things got tough.
I will be your biggest supporter in your schooling journey, and will be able to assist not only in building up foundational skills and filling gaps but also in reteaching current course content if you have either missed school, or if traditional teaching methods do not work for you.
You can rest assured that I will try my absolute best to make sure that learning is fun, engaging, and memorable.

My lessons are tailored to the student, but will typically be one hour and will focus on building foundational skills with the student and revising content rather than accelerating them beyond their school level.
As someone who lived in a majority ESL region, my experience with students, focusing on phonetics, grammar, and spelling, has yielded results, with students going from struggling to excelling within their class. As someone on the neurodivergence spectrum, I understand that traditional teaching methods don't always work.
I offer lessons which are consistently engaging and utilise positive reinforcement to keep kids interested and motivated to improve, but I am willing to switch things up and adapt to your child's needs should that need occur.
My experience in tutoring is not standard, as I have gained experience through school-based and volunteer programmes rather than paid work. Therefore, you can rest assured that I truly enjoy what I do, and am not simply in it for the money at the end of the day.
