About Uriela

I am a passionate and versatile individual with a deep-rooted love for the arts, particularly in the realms of music, musical theater, singing, and dancing. My journey in these disciplines has been both extensive and rewarding, shaping not only my professional expertise but also contributing significantly to my personal growth.

Musical Expertise:
My proficiency in music extends beyond technical proficiency. I have honed my skills in playing the piano and the guitar and possess a keen understanding of musical theory. This foundation has allowed me to approach music composition, arrangement, and performance with a comprehensive perspective.

Singing is not just a skill for me; it's a form of expression. With a rich vocal range and the ability to adapt to various genres, I find joy in bringing lyrics to life and conveying emotions through my voice. Whether it's the raw vulnerability of a ballad or the energy of a lively musical number, I strive to create a connection with my audience through every note.

About the lesson

Teaching Method and Techniques:
I believe in tailoring my teaching to the individual needs and learning styles of each student. Fundamental to my approach is the development of proper vocal techniques, including breath control, pitch accuracy, and vocal range expansion. I integrate classical vocal exercises with contemporary styles to provide a versatile skill set for my students.

In addition to technical aspects, I emphasize the importance of expression and interpretation. I guide students in understanding the emotional nuances of a song, helping them convey a genuine connection to their audience through their vocal performance.

Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson plan begins with a vocal warm-up to prepare the student physically and mentally for the session. Following the warm-up, we delve into targeted vocal exercises to address specific areas of improvement. The core of the lesson is dedicated to working on repertoire, where we explore various genres based on the student's preferences.

To enhance the learning experience, I often incorporate technology, using audiovisual resources to analyze performances, provide feedback, and set achievable goals for improvement. Homework assignments may include practice routines, listening exercises, and reflective journaling.
