About Jayne

I am currently a passionate undergraduate student studying Chemistry and Mathematics, and I truly love what I do. My journey in these subjects has been rewarding, and I want to share that excitement with others. I have always enjoyed helping my classmates understand challenging material, and it is incredibly fulfilling to see someone grasp a concept they initially found difficult. I believe in creating a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. My goal is to make learning engaging and enjoyable while building their confidence alongside their skills. I understand the challenges of academic life, and I am committed to providing guidance that is both professional and relatable, helping students succeed in their studies and fostering a genuine interest in math and physics.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is all about making learning fun and accessible. I believe that every student has their own unique way of understanding concepts, so I tailor my lessons to fit each individual's needs and learning style.
I like to keep things interactive and engaging, encouraging my students to dive into problem-solving to enhance their critical thinking skills. I take complex topics and break them down into digestible parts, using relatable examples to make the material easier to grasp. A typical lesson with me starts off by recapping what we have done before, then I introduce new concepts, followed by some guided practice together, and finally, I let you tackle some problems on your own to build your confidence. We wrap things up by reviewing the key points and making sure all your questions are answered.
What really sets me apart as a tutor is my fresh perspective as someone who is currently in the same learning environment as you. I understand the ups and downs of coursework, and I am passionate about math and science, which I hope to share with you. My goal is not just to help you excel in your exams, but also to foster a genuine interest in these subjects along the way.
