About Jillian

I have about 7 years of tutoring experience through school and volunteering. I’ve worked with students younger and older than me. I, on occasion, even call a tutor for my own classes. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. As a tutor, I hope to share some of my strengths with you.

About the lesson

My lessons are casual and conversational. It is my foremost goal to make the content relatable to you. As a college student, I get what it’s like to be confused in the classroom. Sometimes, all you need is to slow down the curriculum and talk with someone.

I mainly try to fill my sessions with fun practice problems as the best way to eliminate confusion is by doing the work yourself. Success in most STEM classes is highly process-reliant. I can work with you to develop a process that works for you.

All went well in our lesson today. As the student was already in an advanced math program, I feel she intercepted my lesson with ease and is ready to tackle the end of Semester I Algebra II.
