About Allan
I have experience teaching in-person and online (both synchronous and asynchronous instruction). I live in the Valley (Ventura County) and have no issues driving a reasonable distance throughout the week. I am 38 years old and I like to believe I am well-versed in pop culture enough to establish a great working rapport with any student. I have more than ten years of experience as an administrator in various aspects of higher education.

Approachability is the most important aspect of teaching. I aim to establish a professional relationship with the student that prioritizes the student's most effective learning method first, followed by the most essential elements of the material, and finally, I plan to implement opportunities to enhance the student's critical thinking skills. The best way to accomplish this goal is utilizing real-life examples and metaphors.
