As a tutor, my approach is student-centered and concept-focused. I begin by assessing what the student already understands and where the gaps are. I then explain new ideas step by step, using simple language, real-world examples, and visual aids when possible. I encourage students to ask questions and think aloud, so I can address misunderstandings right away.
I share my knowledge by breaking complex topics into smaller, manageable parts and connecting them to concepts the student already knows. After explaining, I guide the student through practice problems, gradually reducing support as their confidence grows. I regularly check for understanding and adjust my teaching style to match the student’s learning pace and preferred way of learning.
