About Ava
I am a dedicated and patient Psychology pre-med student at Florida State University with a passion for science, healthcare, and helping others succeed. I currently work as a Chemistry 2 Learning Assistant at FSU, where I help students better understand difficult concepts and build confidence in the classroom. I have also completed Chem 1, Biology 1, and Biology 2 and can help students in those subjects as well.
Outside of academics, I have gained healthcare experience through medical assistant training, physician shadowing, and clinical internships. I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.

Hi! I’m currently a Chemistry 2 Learning Assistant at Florida State University, where I help students better understand difficult chemistry concepts and build confidence in the class. I know chemistry can feel overwhelming at times, so I focus on explaining topics in a simple, patient, and supportive way that makes learning less stressful.
I have also successfully completed Chem 1, Biology 1, and Biology 2, so I can help students in those subjects as well. My goal is to help students improve their understanding, prepare for exams, and feel more confident solving problems on their own.
