About Emilea
I am currently a second year student at De Montfort University studying Forensic Science. My aspiration is to train and become a GCSE Science teacher once I have graduated from University.
My passion for science began when I was studying for my GCSE, I found the content extremely interesting as well as having an easy grasp on the subjects. I also had teachers that helped me with anything I was stuck with, and I would like to be able to offer this help to other students that could be struggling with the subject or just need some extra practice!
I am also a qualified swimming teacher, despite the subject being highly different, the basics of teaching are still very much the same. I absolutely love this job, working with children of different ages and abilities and helping them to achieve.

I would start with some questions at the start of the lesson about the previous lesson to ensure they understand the content from previous session. Then I will start with the new content, starting simple and working into more depth as long as their confident. At the end, I would set them a couple of questions, to ensure, again, that they have understood the work.
