About Olivia
I'm a licensed high school science teacher based in MA, with an undergraduate degree in Biology, and a Master's degree in Environmental Science. I've been teaching at the high school level for three years, and have been either a college TA or peer tutor for upwards of 8 years.

-I believe learning is interesting when you can apply it to the world around you. We start with a phenomenon or a question to answer (For example: Why can't some people drink milk?), and then we build the foundational, curriculum-based knowledge to answer the question.
-I started teaching during the 2020-2021 school year, so I'm used to delivering content remotely, hybrid, and in person. I understand the struggles of being in high school; I actually was not a very good student! So, I am empathetic to when content might not come naturally to someone.
-Classes are high school science, ranging from biology to chemistry.
