About Keziah

I’m currently in the 11th grade, but I’ve finished all K-12 ELA classes with honors. I’ve also successfully completed multiple AP classes within the ELA category with mastery AP test scores. Additionally, I’ve served as a teacher’s aide in numerous ELA classes and I’ve conducted in-school tutoring for a multitude of K-12 students. Notably, every student that I’ve assisted has seen at least a 10-point average increase in their ELA grade since the start of their sessions. I am a tutor that recognizes that a student’s interest and enjoyment of a subject heavily impacts their ability to excel in the subject. Furthermore, taking this recognition into consideration has allowed me to curate 50+ plans for students to thrive in their learning.

About the lesson

Hello, I’m a current high school student in 11th grade that has mastered all K-12 and collegiate ELA standards. I’m hoping to help younger students to develop their ELA skills within/above their grade level standards and perhaps even grow a passion for ELA as a whole. I specialize in teaching all forms of essay writing (ex: argumentative, narrative, informational, etc.), grammar/spelling proficiency, as well as reading comprehension. I offer virtual and in-person sessions with open availability based on the learner’s schedule. Most importantly, my tutoring isn’t just about learning ELA skills, but rather to learn to be great at ELA. Alongside, I craft individualized learning plans for each student tailored to their specific needs and learning style. I want to assist students with unlocking their academic potential in an enjoyable way. By the end of their sessions, I want students to enjoy their success in ELA and find pride in their skills rather than only seeing ELA as an obligation. Choosing me as your child’s tutor means choosing their future triumph in ELA. Therefore, if you wish to witness your child excel, selecting me as their tutor will transform that wish into a reality.
