About Hella
My name is Hella and I recently moved to London to pursue my dream to become a singer. I am currently in the master's program at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and I am enjoying it to the fullest. I am a mezzo soprano myself, but I also teach male voices. I have taught a high school choir for the last 5 years, where I gained a lot of experience on working with amateurs on musicality and technique simultaneously. I feel like it is always important to enjoy what you sing, so am willing to work on any kind of repertoire that you would like to work on.

Since the age and level of my previous students varied a lot, there are multiple and different goals in my lessons. For younger kids my main goal is to let them enjoy the fun of musicmaking whilst gaining valuable skills for their potential musical future. For students/grownups the goal is more decided by them. Some students want to gain more technical confidence to help them in their choir singing, some students want to pick up where they left of at younger age, some people need to rediscover their love for music. I am open to anything, and willing to work on a student's goals together.
I do not only teach individuals, I also like to teach in smaller groups, or help amateur choirs on their way.
My lessons are usually 40 minutes, but if you feel like you want a shorter or longer lesson, that always possible.
