About Sarah
I am a medical student and I have always had a passion for teaching. It is one of the best ways to not only share knowledge and experience but also to consolidate my own learning. I am confident in my teaching abilities as I aim to adapt my teaching style and content according to individual goals. I prioritise understanding over rote learning and I like to get students involved so that they may feel confident in their own capabilities.

Lessons will be based on what students need, exam review/practice, going through questions and learning tips from the CAS calculator.
Typically my lessons consist of identifying areas of improvement from the student by working through questions together. I use an ipad to share screen and show my working which I compare with student's working. Besides this, I also refer to basic principles to introduce students to a topic and can provide brief quizzes to check before and after knowledge. My lessons typically run for 70min and are aimed at year 11 & 12 students undertaking mathematical methods for VCE. I have been teaching for a total of 3 years and have accumulated resources and skillsduring this period.
