About Nicholas

As a current Biological Sciences undergraduate at NTU, I bring both passion and expertise to the subject of biology. My academic background encompasses comprehensive coursework in biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics and biophysics. This rigorous training has provided me with a solid foundation in biology and a deep appreciation for the connections between the foundational content of the H2 Biology syllabus and the more advanced concepts taught at the undergraduate level. My commitment to academic excellence and professional approach ensures that students can trust in my ability to guide them towards achieving their academic goals.

About the lesson

️-Focused on helping students understand complex concepts and clarifying any conceptual misunderstandings

️-Developing students' answering techniques by going through past exam questions with a particular focus on question analysis and data interpretation

️-Able to provide summary notes upon request, which I had personally used while studying for my A Levels

As a former student who has navigated the challenges of mastering the syllabus content and excelling in exams, I bring a unique perspective to tutoring. I understand firsthand the difficulties students face and can tailor my approach to address specific weaknesses in both content comprehension and exam techniques. This insider knowledge enables me to provide targeted support that effectively boosts both understanding and performance. Moreover, as a current undergraduate majoring in biological sciences, I can help students contextualise their content knowledge with real-world applications, making learning more relevant and engaging.

Additionally, I have a proven track record of successfully tutoring H2 Biology students. My tailored tutoring approach has consistently helped students achieve a deeper understanding of the syllabus content, which has directly led to significant improvements in their grades.
