About Olivia
I have three younger siblings and I grew up helping them with their homework and anything they need. I love to help others and I am extremely patient so I can truly work with anyone. I have taken math and science classes most of my life and I have excelled in my education. I would say that I can definitely help any student who is willing to work with me to reach whatever goals they want. My desire here is to truly make a difference and help people in any way I can! I plan to work with my students and make my lesson plans tailored to how the student learns and the best ways for them to understand the information. I would look into whatever subject and do my research on how I am going to best explain it to the student. Then we will work through some practice problems together. Afterward I would have the student complete some practice on their own. Then we would go over any incorrect answers to solidify their knowledge. This is just one example of how a typical session will go, I can definitely modify this for any kind of student. I think what sets me apart as a tutor is my willingness to listen to the students and my desire to help people. I wanted to be a teacher as a child and I have a lot of patience so if someone needs a longer period of time for a question or needs more clarity I am always going to take that time to help make sure they understand.
