About Jasper
I was a child who struggled with reading for much of my elementary school years, and as such, I am aware of the struggles and frustrations that many can feel when learning English. I feel that I can be empathetic to this while still effectively tutoring and helping a student widen their knowledge of English. Most importantly-- I want to make an impact!

My approach to tutoring involves using various teaching methods and techniques that are tailored to the needs of individual learners. Some of my approaches include:
Interactive Learning: I use conversational approaches that are engaging and interactive, ensuring learners remain engaged throughout the session.
Visual Aids: I use visual aids such as books and videos to aid comprehension.
Individualised Learning: I provide personalised learning experiences that cater to each learner's unique needs, pace, and learning style.
Active Learning: I encourage active participation-- such as reading books that they enjoy-- to enable learners to actively apply the knowledge they acquire.
As aforementioned, I am most confident teaching children from the early elementary to late middle school age (approximately age 5-13).
