About Silviu-Gabriel
My name is Gabriel and I am a 4th year student at the University of Dundee, in the Maths section. After I finish my course, I plan to follow a career in teaching maths (for classes 9-12).
Just as I managed to learn most of my mathematical knowledge through logical processing, you can also do it in a fair amount of time, regardless of you current level in maths.
Maths is a tough subject, widely acknowledged as one of the most frustrating ones to learn due to how overwhelming it looks (theories, numbers, equations, data, graphs, etc.). And I've been agreeing with that statement numerous times throughout my life. But, the way I see it, it's more like understanding the basics and then branching out from there.
"As long as you can understand the problem, it's already half done" is a quote that my former maths tutor used to say quite a lot, and I mostly agree with it. Whatever you find challenging, annoying or even impossible, I am certain that I can properly guide you towards understanding it to a satisfactory level for your needs.

About the lesson

As a client, please provide a few things:
- The content that you want to study (as specific as possible, it would be hard to cover something broad like calculus from the get-go)
- If you are under a time constraint (I imagine that you might have exams that you wanna particularly study for)
- Your available time for lessons (I would be mostly free during any evenings after 5-6 PM)
My lessons would be either an hour or two at a time. The first 20-30 minutes would be a guide towards learning the subject in a logical and comprehensive manner. The rest of the time will be applying that knowledge on exercises. That way, it will be easier for you to retain the knowledge in the long run.
Of course, I would be flexible with the way I teach. So, I might be using practical examples for exercises, lengthen the duration of the guiding part, filling gaps in your knowledge etc.
My lessons would be for anyone under university level.
One last thing: I might not be available for tutoring as soon as you are requesting, mostly due to possible time clashes on my part or needing to study your chosen subject in-depth (I might be good overall at maths, but even I would need a refresher on a particular subject of it, it's a very broad topic).
