About Asmat
I have experience teaching younger individuals in a couple of different languages (Urdu and English), as well as subjects like math and science. I find that people learn best when they're allowed to make mistakes they can learn from, and when they feel confident and encouraged to ask questions and make inquiries. I do my best to match the pace of those I am teaching while trying to adhere to some sort of schedule. I also work to ensure that my pupils feel welcome and comfortable in the presence of my teaching space.

Hi there! My name is Asmat, I'm 20 years old, and I'm a bilingual Canadian. I love to work with people and help them achieve their goals and create new ones. I strive consistently to make things fun and enjoyable for all my students. Since I am a daughter to immigrant parents, I am familiar with some of the struggles individuals can face with English being their second (or third) language. I believe in a lesson plan that doesn't tire or exhaust my students while leaving them fresh with sufficient knowledge to practice on their own time. I try to teach in methods that may be applied during day-to-day life outside of the classroom. My lessons are targeted mainly towards children between ages 4 through 18.
