About Anne Abigail
Hi! My name is Anne George and I am currently a freshman at Georgia State University. I have a great love for the English language as well as kids. One of my favorite ways to spend time with my nephew is to read with him!
While in high school, I was a part of many extracurricular clubs and activities, winning some awards like the senior service award for chorus, stage manager award for theater, honor roll, presidents award, etc.
I always loved helping people with their school work or even extracurricular work so I believe teaching is a great part-time job for me and I'm excited to get started!

While I can offer a glimpse into what my teaching style is like, I will need course materials in advance and time with the students to be the best teacher for them!
I follow learner-centered strategies, seeing how my students best study and make lesson plans based on this observation. My teaching style would be more gentle and relaxed aiming for the student to achieve their goals as well as succeed academically.
A typical lesson plan would begin with me gauging what the student already understands and going from there.
My age and ability to connect with students from the perspective of someone young makes me different from other tutors who are often considered older, authoritative, and often scary.
My lessons are only for those in kindergarten and early middle school who struggle with basic components of speech/reading and other building blocks of the English language.
