About Sanjana
Now I'm a second year Master's student in psychology, with a research interest in feminist psychology, but I used to be a public health and government consultant. I used to be a teaching aide in a biology classroom and a psychology tutor, so my academic interests go every-which-way, as you can probably tell. Mostly, I love talking to people about how to make the abstract and theoretical into something meaningful and concrete. In my free time, I read romance novels, kickbox, and find fun places to eat!

-I work with students to workshop personal statements or college essays and complete assignments for English, Social Studies, History (world or US), Psychology classes at the Middle School, High School, and Early College levels -I tailor lesson plans to specific clients based on strengths, weaknesses, and aims, but generally hope for an environment where students grow to appreciate (if not love) a subject that they may not usually like! - Most importantly, when teaching students about writing, I want to give students a workable skill set to express themselves how they'd like to be heard, rather than presenting a fixed formula - I have a strong background in liberal arts communications, scientific writing, and presentation building. I've edited and proofread a range of personal essays and personal statements/college essays over my academic career, and look forward to being of help!
