About Elizabeth
I have a great passion for the world of English and humanities. I got my GCSEs, A-Levels in Sociology, RE and History; I went to university in the September of 2019. My journey at university got halted due to the impact of COVID, and I decided to start afresh and began studying with the Open University at the beginning of this year whilst gaining experience as a Teaching Assistant in a local secondary school. I love all things historical, classical and authentic; I have a real passion in my chosen subjects which at the end of the day, is the most important aspect of learning.

After working in an SEN department, I've realised the fundamental importance of adapting lessons to fit the student. I listen and understand what your needs are and fit my knowledge around that in a way that is going to benefit you most. Often, I make PowerPoints accompanied with a note version in the format of a word document, to help consolidate the lesson. I am really passionate about teaching English it's all I've ever wanted to do so I look forward to any opportunity to progress.
