About Roan
My name is Roan Pilsworth, I am 19 years old and studying Mathematics at Durham University. Throughout school I always had a passion for Mathematics even attending extra curricular clubs resulting in entrance to a range of local competitions. A favourite club of mine was the Jaguar Maths Club in which me and my team made it to the international finals. I would love to tutor students to share my knowledge and encourage the enjoyment I find in Mathematics to blossom in other too.

Personalized lesson plans to target areas of weakness and help improve overall confidence when tackling more challenging questions. Each topic will be broken down into manageable sections and pace of progression through a topic will be entirely influenced by the speed of your understanding. Real past exam questions used to confirm understanding at the end of each topic. Lessons usually lasting between 1 - 2 hours plus 5 minute interval. Previously tutored GCSE students in Chemistry and Physics whilst studying for my A-levels. Teaching students from school years 10 - 13. Always happy to respond to emails or messages with questions outside of lesson time.
