About Ella

Hello my name is Ella!

I am both Filipino and American. I currently live in the UK but I have lived in Hong Kong for 10 years. I have two big beautiful dogs who I love dearly. I am a passionate vocalist and I have a deep love for music. I believe that singing is way express ourselves and it helps us learn more about ourselves than we already know. It's a way to build confidence as a person. I strive to improve confidence and vocal technique as a singer, and I enjoy teaching young students to grow and develop their musical talents!

About the lesson

I have been studying Music since I was in middle school, and I've completed an IBDP Music course in Hong Kong. My first instrument is Voice and I am also a pianist at an ABRSM level 5.
Currently, I am studying at LIPA in Liverpool and I am both a pianist and vocalist in multiple university bands in LIPA.

My lessons usually run for 1 hour and I like to create a comfortable and chill environment. During my lessons, I will be teaching a variety of different vocal warm ups and exercise based on the student's vocals, then for every two lessons, the student will be choosing a songs to help challenge their vocal ability and expand their skills. Simple homework will be set after each lesson. Overall, I enjoy tutoring as it helps me gain experience and help others grow and find passion within music.
