About Emily
I am currently studying marine biology at the university of Plymouth and graduated collage with AAB in chemistry, psychology and biology.
Throughout my educational journey i struggled with self confidence and been able to achieve high grades along side my peers. As a result of this i had tutoring multiple hours a week i feel this really helped me to become more confident and build up my ability to learn independently.Without this extra support i would not of been able to achieve my dream of becoming a marine biologists.
It would be my pleasure to have the same effect on other students who are in the same position that i was.

The session would consist of a 5 minute warm up task to engage the student before the session begins.
We will then spend the next 55 mins focusing on aspects of their learning they struggle with in order to build confidence and set them apart from their peers.
My tutor sessions are aimed at children who require a little extra support throughout their educational journey. Whether that is getting ahead of content already reviewed in lessons, or engaging in pre-reading/learning activities so they feel more comfortable learning and engaging in lessons.
I am a student myself whom has spent many hours within tuition therefore i understand how to engage students throughout the session and provide effective revision tips. I feel it is incredibly important children receive the help they require in order to become confident and successful individuals in the future.
