About Chris
My name is Chris and currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southampton. Ive always liked helping my friends throughout school and higher education as I seemed to be understanding these subjects in an easier way. I point out easy procedures or important bits that people might have not considered before, allowing them to understand why this is the way to answer the problem instead of just aimlessly memorising.
I received positive feedback through both working with my current classmates and also from the clients I have tutored. I'm always looking to improve, making each lesson better than the next as I get to ask you questions and see how you think about the subject at hand.

During my lessons i try to actively engage students with the subject, guiding them through the right mindset/methodology to help them arrive to an answer by themselves. Once we have worked through some questions, they will have the necessary tools to solve similar questions they come across.
I tailor my lesson exactly towards the needs of each person, based on the questions they ask me, feedback received and their weaknesses in the subject. This way, together we can make substancially greater improvements over time.
For me, it's all about increasing your confidence!
I've secured A* grades in both GCSE and A Level Maths along with A* and A grades for Physics respectively, and I have experience teaching 10-15 year old students with GCSE level Maths. However, i am also open to teaching A level Maths! Typically my lessons range from 30 minutes to an hour depending on clients' needs.
