About Yasmine
As a dedicated and patient tutor, I aim to help every student reach their full potential by making learning both clear and enjoyable. My teaching approach focuses on strengthening understanding through structured explanations, interactive practice, and personalised feedback. Each lesson typically lasts around one hour and is tailored to the student’s needs, ensuring steady progress and confidence in both Chinese and Maths. I currently volunteer as a teaching assistant at a Chinese school and have strong academic experience in both subjects, having achieved top results at GCSE and A level. My lessons are suitable for students from primary to GCSE level who wish to build a solid foundation and excel academically in a supportive and professional environment.

My approach to tutoring focuses on building a strong understanding of key concepts while keeping lessons engaging and tailored to each student’s learning style. I use clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and plenty of practice exercises to help students gain confidence and accuracy. A typical lesson lasts about an hour, combining explanation, guided practice, and review. I have experience tutoring both Chinese and Maths—currently volunteering as a teaching assistant at a Chinese school and supporting students with GCSE-level Maths. My lessons are suitable for primary to GCSE students who want to strengthen their skills or improve exam performance.
