About Aryan

I want to teach GCSE Maths because I understand the challenges that students face when tackling this subject, and I want to help them gain confidence and improve their skills. Having achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths myself, I know the dedication and problem-solving strategies needed to succeed. Mathematics is a subject that builds critical thinking and logical reasoning skills, and I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simpler, more understandable steps. I believe that every student has the potential to do well in Maths with the right support and teaching methods. By sharing my knowledge and exam techniques, I hope to help students not only improve their grades but also develop a more positive approach to the subject.

About the lesson

Teaching Methodology & Techniques: My approach to tutoring GCSE Mathematics is structured, engaging, and results-driven. I focus on: • Building Strong Foundations: Ensuring students understand core concepts before progressing to more complex topics. • Problem-Solving Strategies: Teaching students step-by-step methods to tackle exam-style questions efficiently. • Interactive Learning: Encouraging active participation through discussions, worked examples, and practice exercises. • Exam Technique & Time Management: Helping students improve their ability to answer questions effectively under timed conditions. • Personalised Learning Plans: Identifying areas of weakness and tailoring lessons accordingly to maximise improvement. Typical Lesson Length: Lessons typically last 60 minutes, which allows for concept explanation, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. However, 90-minute sessions can be arranged for intensive revision or exam preparation. Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for GCSE students of all abilities, whether they: • Need help understanding difficult topics. • Want to boost their predicted grades. • Are preparing for higher-tier or foundation-tier exams. • Require support with exam technique and past paper practice.
