My Teaching Method and Techniques
I believe children learn best when lessons are fun, interactive, and encouraging. I use simple explanations, colourful visuals, games, stories, and hands-on activities to make learning enjoyable and easy to understand. Every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching approach to suit each student's pace, learning style, and individual needs. My goal is to create an engaging environment where children feel motivated, confident, and excited to learn.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson begins with a 3–5 minute warm-up activity to help the child feel comfortable and ready to learn. This may include a fun game, a short conversation, or a quick review of the previous lesson. I then introduce the main lesson using clear explanations, visual aids, and interactive activities that encourage participation. After learning the new concept, the child practises through enjoyable exercises, games, or worksheets to strengthen their understanding. At the end of the lesson, I review what we have learned, provide positive feedback, celebrate the child's progress, and answer any questions to ensure they leave feeling confident.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
I create a positive, patient, and supportive learning environment where children feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. I believe that every child can succeed when they receive the right guidance and encouragement. Along with developing academic skills, I focus on building confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love for learning. I strive to make every lesson enjoyable while helping each child reach their full potential.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are designed for preschool and elementary school children. I provide personalised one-to-one lessons that are tailored to each child's age, learning level, and individual goals. Whether a child is learning foundational skills, needs extra support with schoolwork, or wants to improve their reading, writing, mathematics, or English, I create engaging lessons that help them learn with confidence and enjoy every step of their educational journey.
