About Steven
I have a degree in Mathematics from the University of Leeds and a strong passion for helping students develop their mathematical skills and confidence. I previously opened and ran my own tuition center in the UK, giving me valuable experience supporting students with a wide range of abilities and learning needs.
Alongside teaching, I have worked with math and AI companies, helping to develop statistical models and apply mathematical thinking to real-world problems. This has strengthened my analytical skills and given me a deeper understanding of how mathematics can be applied beyond the classroom.
I enjoy making math clear, engaging and accessible, and I believe every student can make progress with the right support, explanations and encouragement.

My lessons will be engaging, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. We will begin by identifying areas of strength and topics that need more development. I will explain concepts clearly, work through examples together, and provide plenty of opportunities for students to practise independently. Lessons will be interactive, encouraging and focused on building both mathematical understanding and confidence.
