About Despoina
I’m a native Greek speaker with a background in Psychology and currently pursuing a Master’s in Health Psychology. While teaching a language and practising psychology might seem different, they both centre on one key principle: building trust and human connection. My goal as a teacher is to create a space that is safe, open, and relaxed — just like I would with a client. I believe that learning should be fun, not stressful or forced. We’ll move at your pace, and I’ll adapt the lessons to your interests and goals. If this approach speaks to you, I’d love to have you join me for an enjoyable and engaging Greek learning experience. Hello learners :) My name is Despoina, I'm working as a native Greek Tutor since February 2025, while in the past I have voluntarily been a tutor for an elementary student. Together we will explore the fun aspect of practising the Greek language on a daily basis. My classes focus mostly on speaking; casual and everyday conversation. Classes can be tailored according to your needs and I can accept students of all levels. No matter how much you know, I'll make sure to build your confidence and show you that learning a language can be fun and not stressful. After each class I'm providing notes and homework.
