About Hannah
Having taught formal dance classes for over 3 years with over 15 years of formal dance training, my approach to dance education is founded on passion, artistry, and technique. I believe that dance is for EVERYONE. As such, I strive to teach in unique, tailored ways to meet each student where they are and to help them achieve their own personal goals. I am always incredibly excited to share the joy and beauty of dance!

My classes start with a full body, moving warm up and stretching, continue with barre (base skills are woven into exercises), then move to center floor work and/or choreography (base skills from barre are built on to practice specific skills in combination), and end with a light cool down and stretching.
I can work on technique, artistry, musicality, learning choreography, or other specific areas the dancer wants to improve. I can create new choreography for the dancer to learn that highlights their skills and abilities, and I can work with the dancer to improve choreography from outside my class. I have found the greatest success with teaching through demonstration, positive reinforcement/praise, and repetition, however I can fully tailor the session to meet each dancer's unique needs and goals.
Styles taught: ballet (my specialty), lyrical, modern, contemporary
No prior dance experience necessary! All ages 3 and up are welcome! All skill levels and abilities welcome!
