I am pleased to expound upon Tulasi Parvathi’s skills as a choreographer and teacher of Bharatanatyam dance. I observed Tulasi Parvathi’s work during her performance and choreography in her hometown. It was clear that as a teacher she gained and maintained the students with high respect and they worked very hard for her, leading to much development. She imparted a lot of knowledge, taking the necessary time for individual attention, therefore fostering great improvement. Tulasi Parvathi gives a well balanced class and is truly interested in technique, musicality, and quality of movement as opposed to just the outer appearances. It is important to her that each of her students understands the material, and becomes capable of adaptation to the requirements of the class. As a choreographer, her work pushed the envelope, as she likes to experiment with ideas which keeps her movement fresh, alive and intriguing.

My daughter is a student of Tulasi Parvathi. I strongly recommend Tulasi Parvathi because she is very dedicated,hard working and humble. She teaches students from basics. She also teaches basic exercises along with Bharatanatyam. She makes sure that the student understands the subject completely.
