About Mahmoud
I'm Mahmoud, a Material Planning & Control Engineer with 8 years of experience in industrial operations, where Excel is a daily working tool for forecasting, reporting, and decision-making — not a side skill. I hold a professional Data Analyst certification and a Senior Executive Diploma, alongside a background in engineering. I've also designed and delivered a full Excel training program for working professionals, so I bring both real business experience and structured teaching practice to every lesson.

**Teaching method and approach**
I teach Excel as a working data analyst and planning engineer, not a generic trainer — I use these tools daily to manage real business operations. Lessons are hands-on from the start: students work in Excel alongside me rather than watching slides, using one continuous practice file across the whole course so skills build on each other like they would on a real job.
**A typical lesson**
Around 2.5 hours: a quick recap, a focused block of new material taught live, then guided hands-on practice on our running dataset. I never demonstrate more than about ten minutes without stopping for practice. Each lesson ends with a short take-home exercise and a one-page reference sheet.
**What sets me apart**
I answer "when would I actually use this" from direct daily experience, not theory. I scope lessons to what working professionals actually need — mastering the tools you'll use every week, not a shallow tour of everything Excel can do.
**Who this is for**
Working adults — admin, HR, accounting, sales, procurement, operations staff, and small business owners — who use Excel occasionally but never learned it properly. No prior Excel or programming background needed. Not aimed at students or technical exam prep; it's for people who need Excel to work reliably at their job and want to stop depending on someone else to fix their spreadsheets.
