About Yash
I’m a data engineer with a Master’s in Applied Computer Science and several years of hands-on experience in analytics, cloud technologies, and AI. Over the years, I’ve mentored students, interns, and junior colleagues, and I discovered that teaching is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. Helping someone go from confusion to clarity is something I genuinely enjoy.
Even though my background is technical, my personality is approachable and easy-going. I value patience, clear communication, and building real connections with my students. Outside of work, I stay active, ski, and explore new experiences—habits that keep me curious, adaptable, and open-minded, which naturally shapes my teaching style.
I believe students learn best in a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and thinking out loud. My goal is to make complex topics feel accessible, logical, and even enjoyable, while giving students the confidence to apply what they learn in real academic or professional settings.

My teaching approach is built around clarity, structure, and real‑world understanding. I combine my Master’s in Applied Computer Science with several years of professional data engineering and analytics experience to help students truly understand concepts—not just memorize them.
Every lesson follows a simple but effective framework:
- Concept First: I break down complex ideas into clear, digestible explanations using visuals, analogies, and real examples.
- Guided Practice: Students work through problems with me step‑by‑step so they build confidence and understand the “why” behind each solution.
- Real‑World Application: I connect every topic to practical scenarios from data engineering, analytics, and AI so students see how the theory is used in industry.
- Independent Mastery: I provide targeted exercises and mini‑projects that reinforce learning and help students develop long‑term skill retention.
- Progress Tracking: Each session ends with a quick recap of what we covered, what the student mastered, and what we’ll focus on next.
I teach university students, beginners, and professionals transitioning into tech. My lessons are highly personalized—no two students learn the same way, so I adapt my pace, examples, and teaching style to match each learner’s strengths.
