Deakin University Psychology student gives English and psychology lessons in Geelong region

Hiba not only has a bubbly and lovely attitude, she is intelligent, hardworking and is always seeking to complete in this case, English tasks and essays to the utmost of her abilities.

Completing year 12 English by a successful example and awesome colleague/close friend, I know Hiba is someone who will more than make sure her students excel (if they take on board her very helpful advice).

Hiba’s mannerisms and the way she projects her feedback is straight to the point. However, it is Hiba’s bubbly personality and happy smile that make her such an approachable person and taking her feedback will NEVER degrade you but rather give you potential to do better next time.

She will question them, express different views through deep discussions (one of her great strengths), critique work honestly (just like she did for me, and made me do better) and give amazing constructive criticism.

Hiba is also big on improving vocabulary and making amazing word choices. She goes into lots of detail in her work which I think is very beneficial to her students who will have more examples and develop greater understanding of texts and concepts from her teachings.

I know that whoever has Hiba as their teacher will not have just a great teacher but a good friend that you will feel safe and assured with, which is important in order to accept positive criticism ,which I can’t stress enough is CRUCIAL for success.
