About Aneesh

I'm a MBA student with 4 years of industry experience in USA. Previously, I completed B.E. in Electrical Engineering followed by a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from New York, USA. After my Masters, I worked in USA for 4 years with leading telecommunication companies like AT&T and Verizon. As a Network Engineer and later, as a Business Analyst, I was responsible for maintaining the network services provided to the respective customers and business development. Currently, I'm pursuing MBA at Deakin University in Melbourne.
Regarding my tutoring experience, I've mentored students in USA with academic difficulties. I used to conduct extra sessions over the weekends to deliver the lectures that the students found difficult. Moreover, I've tutored middle and high school students during my stay in Sydney. I enjoy field of Mathematics and Electrical Engineering and having spent most of my academic career in these two domains, I'm confident of adding value to a student in need. A penchant for helping people, excellent interpersonal skills, discipline and time-management holds me in good stead to manage a tutoring role.

About the lesson

I believe my education credentials along with quality work experience gives me an edge in teaching the academic concepts. I'm able to relate the concepts with real-life examples to enable the student to understand it quickly. I've always been a believer of using visual representations and practical examples to help students connect with a particular concept. Moreover, I'm a good problem-solver and can come up with innovative ways of teaching if a student is unable to understand the standard method. While I try to solve their problems, patience is a key characteristic required along with good organisation skills, which I possess. Also, I don't consider myself to be just a teacher when I'm tutoring. I believe in preparing in depth and knowing the concepts inside-out before I engage in a session. Having a creative mind helps in making the tutoring session interesting and these qualities coupled with strong communication skills makes me a complete package to be a tutor.
