About Daniel
Hi! I’m a passionate Mathematics and Chemistry tutor who enjoys helping students understand concepts clearly and build confidence in their learning.
Although I’m relatively new to professional tutoring, I’ve been explaining Mathematics and Chemistry concepts to my friends and classmates since high school, and I continue to do so during my foundation year. I achieved A* in both IGCSE Mathematics (0580) and Chemistry (0620), giving me a strong academic foundation in both subjects.
My goal is not simply to help students memorize formulas or complete questions, but to help them understand why and how things work. I believe that when students truly understand a concept, they become more confident in applying it to different types of questions and solving problems independently.
I also believe that students learn best in an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions. There is no such thing as a “stupid” question when it comes to learning. I want to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can ask questions freely, learn from their mistakes, and gradually build their confidence.
Through my lessons, I hope to help students improve not only their academic performance, but also their problem-solving, critical-thinking, and independent-learning skills—skills that can benefit them far beyond the classroom.
