About OLAMIDE TIMILEHIN

I’m a friendly and patient tutor who enjoys helping students understand things they find difficult. I have experience teaching Mathematics and science subjects to both primary and secondary school students. I believe learning should be simple, engaging, and enjoyable, so I use practical examples, technology, and interactive lessons to make concepts easier to understand. I’m committed to helping each student improve, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

I adopt a learner-centered and interactive approach to tutoring, ensuring that each lesson is adapted to the student's age, ability, learning pace, and individual needs. I simplify complex topics by breaking them into manageable steps through scaffolding, helping students build confidence and understanding gradually.

My teaching methodology combines problem-based learning, practical examples, interactive discussions, and the use of technology and digital learning resources to make lessons engaging and relatable. I also use continuous assessment, including quizzes, exercises, and assignments, to monitor progress and identify areas that require additional support. Through positive reinforcement, I encourage students to participate actively, build confidence, and develop a genuine interest in learning.

My lessons typically last between 1 and 5 hours, depending on the student's needs, subject requirements, and learning goals.

I hold a Bachelor of Agriculture in Agricultural Economics and Farm Management and am also a NIIT-trained Web Development graduate. I have practical teaching experience tutoring Mathematics and other science subjects at both primary and secondary school levels.

My lessons are designed for:

* Primary school students: Ages 6–10
* Secondary school students: Ages 11–16

My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to develop their confidence, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and enthusiasm for learning.
