About Everett
I bring 7 years of ESL teaching experience to my work with high school and college students, specialising in personalised instruction that helps learners reach their language goals efficiently and confidently. My lessons are designed to be interactive, practical, and engaging, combining grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking practice with real-life examples.
I focus on building strong communication skills, ensuring students can confidently express themselves in both academic and everyday contexts. My ESL teaching methodology is based on the C³P approach: Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. Creativity is fostered through storytelling, role-plays, and project-based exercises that inspire students to explore English in imaginative ways.
Communication is emphasised through group discussions, debates, and collaborative activities, helping learners improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence. Compassion ensures lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, with guidance, support, and constructive feedback provided at every step.
Problem-solving is integrated through scenario-based exercises, analytical tasks, and real-life challenges that develop critical thinking and practical application of English. I also cover related subjects such as writing, reading comprehension, and vocabulary enhancement to provide a well-rounded academic experience.
This approach helps students become confident, creative, empathetic, and capable of using English effectively in academic, professional, and real-life situations.
